how to analyze qualitative data | step by step guide

Qualitative research is a type of social science research that collects and processes non-numerical data and attempts to explain meaning from these data to help understand social life by studying the target population or place.
People often design it as opposed to quantitative research. Quantitative research uses numerical data to identify large-scale trends and employs statistical operations to determine causality and correlation between variables.
In sociology, qualitative research usually focuses on the micro-social interactions that make up daily life, while quantitative research usually focuses on macro trends and phenomena.
